Invesment Analyst

STRT Holding is Hungary’s most active pre-seed stage, industry-agnostic venture capital firm and incubator, with a portfolio of 100+ companies, primarily from Central and Eastern Europe. Founded by exited startup entrepreneurs, we take an angel-style approach to investing: making small, impactful investments while actively supporting founders through hands-on guidance, classroom and online education, and personalized mentoring. What will be your role?

We are looking for a proactive and intellectually curious individual with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. While prior experience in finance or venture capital is a plus, we value a genuine interest in technology, startups, and a willingness to learn.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our investment team across various functions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Investment Sourcing: Actively researching and identifying promising investment opportunities within our target regions.
• Industry Analysis: Conducting in-depth market and industry research to prepare comprehensive analyses and identify key trends.
• Process Development: Contributing to the development and refinement of our internal investment and  portfolio management processes.
• Team Collaboration: Providing direct support to senior team members throughout the investment process, from due diligence to deal execution. Assisting with strategic and operational support for our existing portfolio companies, helping them achieve their growth objectives.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to details
• Basic understanding of financial reports and legal documents
• Networking and communications skills
• Experience in venture capital or incubation is a big plus
• Experience at a tech startup is a plus but not required
• Fluent in English

This is a  fixed-term (2 months), part-time (internship) role based in Budapest, Hungary, on Lövőház Street. We offer a flexible work schedule, focusing on results rather than rigid rules.
